not to sound old or anything but I genuinely do not agree with anyone who says “gen AI will help the future generations” because I just saw a dog video on twitter that is so clearly, obviously AI generated, and under the replies of that post someone “asked grok if the video was real” and, of course, grok said “it was a real video of a puppy playing”, despite the puppy in question growing a fifth leg in the middle of the video.

the irony of asking an AI if an AI generated video was real and that AI, that was asked said question, saying that the AI generated video in question was real. and it’s more dystopian that that person now genuinely believes that the video is real, because “grok said so”.

we as a humankind are doomed if this is our future.
