Crying doesn't indicate that you're weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you're alive.

Who am I without my unfunny jokes and amazing music taste?

You don't find love, it finds you. It's got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, and what's written in the stars.

    ~ NIN, Anaïs.

Please don't call me a cum dumpster. I care about the environment very much. I'm a cumpost bin.

"He told me that he uses AI for up to eight hours each day [...]. Sometimes, he has as many as six sessions running simultaneously. He consults AI for marriage and parenting advice, and when he goes grocery shopping, he takes photos of the fruits to ask if they are ripe."

"One evening, he was trying to help a woman retrieve her AirPod, which had fallen between the seats on the train. He noticed that his first instinct was to ask ChatGPT for a solution."

That's some of the scariest stuff I've read in a long time. Seeing this level of brain rot already happening to university people, who should be used to hard thinking more than the average person, is really worrying. Worst of all, this highly addictive technology is in the hands of profit-driven companies trying to maximise their revenue. We're literally living in a cyberpunk world, just without the neon lights.

It is the system, rather than individuals, that is the source of pollution and degradation.

    —BERKMAN, Alexander.

Never apologize for being sensitive or emotional. Let this be a sign that you’ve got a big heart and aren’t afraid to let others see it. Showing your emotions is a sign of strength.

    —NICOLE, Brigitte.

The trouble is we have a bad habit, encouraged by pedants and sophisticates, of considering happiness as something rather stupid. Only pain is intellectual, only evil interesting. This is the treason of the artist; a refusal to admit the banality of evil and the terrible boredom of pain.

    —Ursula K. Le Guin.

    174 [del]

music has gotten worse ever since we've stopped letting ugly people have a go at it

it’s actually really easy to not be a terf like you just have empathy and mind your own business

You kiss me with your mouth wide open like you’re not afraid of swallowing poison. I taste the good and bad in you and want them both. We call this bravery.

    —OFOKANSI, Anita, Literary Sexts.

    177 [del]

You can't save people. You can only love them while they learn how to save themselves.

    178 [del]

I saw all the mirrors on earth and none of them reflected me.

    —BORGES, Jorge Luis, The Aleph

When someone leaves you once, you expect it to happen again. Eventually you stop getting close enough to people to let them become important to you, because then you don’t notice when they drop off your world.
